Game Description:

Nothling is one of the NZIHL most successful goaltenders, boasting back to back NZIHL Championships with the Botany Swarm in '07 and '08. He has recorded the NZIHL's most wins and shut outs, which has earned him three Top Goal Keeper awards in five Seasons. Achieving all of this before the age of 20.

Nothling can always be relied on in the big games to 'pull one out of the bag' for his team. A perfect example of this was against Serbia in the 2008 U20 Divison III World Championship. He faced 68 shots with a save average of 95%. Leading his team to victory and the Gold Medal over heavy favorites, Australia and Serbia.

Nothling is considered an unorthodox goaltender, with huge athleticism on the ice and a distinct style that is very unpredictable. He is best known for his size and unconventional saves. Nothling's big game experience, relaxed style and never give up attitude is an asset to the Ice Blacks as he leads from the back.
